July Construction Update: Steady Progress Along Beach Road, Sandringham
Construction continues at pace this July on our landmark project in Sandringham, with strong momentum across key structural and service milestones. As the building’s form begins to take full shape, each stage brings us closer to delivering an exceptional residential offering along Melbourne’s coveted Bayside corridor.
Structural Milestone Reached
A major highlight for July has been the topping out of level 3. This achievement marks a pivotal moment in the project’s vertical journey and sets the stage for upcoming works that will define the building’s architectural profile. With blue steel framing now delivered, installation is scheduled to begin in August, followed by the roof trusses to seal in the upper levels.
Internal Framing Progressing Across Multiple Levels
Internally, the project is transitioning from structure to space. Framing has commenced in the basement for bin rooms and is progressing through the ground floor apartments. Levels 1 and 2 are next in line, with wall framing scheduled to begin over the coming weeks. This phase will shape the interiors into distinct and functional living areas.
Essential Services Underway
Parallel to structural progress, building services are now being installed to support high-quality fixtures and finishes. Fire sprinklers are being fitted across the lower levels while preparations for plumbing, electrical and mechanical rough-ins are underway. These critical services form the backbone of a well-functioning and enduring residential building.
Streetscape Taking Shape
On the exterior, the blockwork for commercial frontages and main entries has been completed. This important step not only defines the street-level presence of the development but also enhances the overall architectural rhythm of Beach Road.
As we move into August, EPIX Build remains focused on maintaining steady progress while delivering the quality craftsmanship and attention to detail our clients expect. We look forward to sharing further updates as construction advances into the next phase.
