Construction at our Lower Heidelberg Road project in Ivanhoe continues to advance with strong momentum, as the structure beneath the building becomes increasingly defined. February marks another important step forward on-site.
Throughout February, activity has centred on shaping and refining the basement footprint. The below-ground structure is now clearly established, with substantial perimeter retaining walls in place to define the boundary of the basement zone and create a secure working platform for the stages ahead.
A major visual milestone has also been reached, with the tower crane now installed at the heart of the site. Its presence signals the transition into the next structural phase and enables efficient movement of materials and equipment as activity increases.
Within the basement area, machinery continues detailed preparation works across the slab formation zone. The ground conditions are being carefully managed, stockpiles are organised and set-out works are progressing with precision to ensure accuracy in the structural build sequence. Comprehensive safety systems remain in place around the perimeter, supporting a well-coordinated and compliant work environment.
This phase is all about accuracy and preparation. With the basement footprint firmly established, the project is positioned to move confidently into the next structural stages, where progress will become even more visible from street level. Each element completed now directly supports the levels that will rise above.
The transformation at Lower Heidelberg Road is becoming more tangible with every passing week. As momentum builds and key milestones are achieved, the vision for this Ivanhoe address is steadily coming to life.
We look forward to sharing further progress next month as construction continues to move ahead with focus, energy and precision.
